Title: Notification (Guidelines regarding scholarship and payment of registration fees by M.S./Ph.D. students on submission of thesis)
NOTIFICATION
The Competent Authority has approved the following guidelines regarding scholarship and payment of registration fees by M.S/Ph.D. scholars.
- No registration fee will be charged for the semester if the thesis is submitted within one month of the beginning of semester.
- If the thesis is submitted after one month of the start of semester, full registration fee for the semester is to be paid. This fee will be non-refundable.
- Research scholars who have submitted their M.S./Ph.D. thesis within their stipulated period (3 yrs and 5 yrs respectively) and during their extension period, on the recommendation of the supervisor, the institute may consider for award of scholarship for a period upto three months to Ph.D students and one month to M.S. students from the date of submission or thesis defence, whichever is earlier. This recommendation is valid for those who are availing HTRA fellowship.
- The scholars who are availing fellowship from CSIR/UGC/similar funding agencies/projects, the termination of their fellowships will be as per the standard norms of funding agencies.
