Subject: Conversion of TU Grades to IIT Mandi Grades.
The Competent Authority has approved the Conversion of TU Grades to IIT Mandi Grades as under:

The conversion formula 1 IIT Mandi credits = 1.5 ECTS is approved by IIT Mandi and is used for grade computation purposes for those IIT Mandi students who go on semester exchange to foreign institutions where the ECTS system is followed.
The credits of each course will be converted and then rounded off to a single decimal point using a 0.05 threshold rule.
