OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Approval of the Competent Authority is hereby conveyed for management/movement of Dak in the Institute regarding present position of nodal points and coordinating points for receipt/dispatch of Dak as per the details placed at Annexure “A-2” to this OM. The guidelines shall be in practice with immediate effect.

Present position of nodal points and coordinating points for receipt/dispatch of Dak:
The common offices need to be strengthened and re-organized with creation of few ones for upcoming buildings. Well functioned common office will play an important role for an effective dak movement and misc. associated services. Following nodal points and common office are proposed.
Common offices are proposed for a big building with considerable number of users and central common office for smaller adjacent buildings. Dak movement services can be utilized by the users by any common offices and not restricted to the user of building only.
Other offices, services and amenities, like Account & Audit offices, S&P, Admin., Dean Offices, Student hostel offices, Guest House, Auditorium complex offices, etc. will be able to use common offices as well as nearby Nodal offices for dak movement.

Internal Note for Reorganization of common offices:
- A1 common office in SC will be closed. Ms. Rekha from the A1 common office should be attached with SCEE Chair for A11 building in North Campus.
- A6 common office in SC will be closed. Ms. Surchi from the A6 common office should be attached with the SBS Chair office for the A3 or A7 building common office in South Campus.
- A10 common office in NC will be closed. Mr Gaurav from A10 common office will be attached with SHSS Chair office in A11 building.
- A13 existing common office will be merged with the SE Chair office. Mr. Akshay from A13 common office will be attached with SE Chair office.
- A14 building is upcoming and can be served from A14 building common office.
- A17-18 Buildings are newly constructed building. The common office needs to be established with suitable manpower. BioX is planning to move into these buildings. BioX coordinator may be made in Incharge.
Additional common offices/nodal office may be created based on requirements as system grows and need arises.
