Subject: Revised Schedule for Celebration of Independence Day on 15th August 2025 (Friday) at IIT Mandi (H. P.). – reg.

In partial modification to Notification No. IIT Mandi/F/Administration/INT-A10/625-630 dated 06.08.2025, the revised schedule for the Independence Day celebration on 15th August 2025 (Friday) at the Institute is as follows:

Timing	Activity
07:55 AM	Assembly of Security Personnel, employees & students for the ceremony at Village Square.
08:00 AM	Hoisting of National Flag by the Director. (Mr. Nitesh Kumar, Alumnus, Paralympic Gold Medalist & Arjuna Awardee will also be present).
	Guard of Honour by the Security Personnel & playing of the National Anthem.
	Parade by the Security Personnel & Inter IIT Faculty/Staff/Students Sports Contingents of 2024.
08:10 AM	Address of the Hon’ble Director.
08:30 AM	After the Director’s Address, all will proceed towards Sports complex. “Nitesh Kumar Pavilion” will be inaugurated inside the Sports Complex, North Campus by Mr. Nitesh Kumar himself.
08:45 AM	All will proceed and be seated inside the main auditorium.
08:50 AM	Talk by Mr. Nitesh Kumar Felicitation of Mr. Nitesh Kumar Cultural Program Distribution of Prize/Medals for Sports events Interactive session with Mr. Nitesh Kumar
Distribution of refreshment after the event.

Other duties and responsibilities for the celebration will remain same.
