The undersigned is to convey that the Competent Authority has been pleased to approve the enhancement of rate of House Rent Allowance (HRA) to 9 % with effect from 01.07.2021 to the eligible employees consequent upon crossing the Dearness Allowance (DA) to 25% ( i.e.17% to 28% wef. 01.07.2021) mentioned in Office Memorandum No. 2/5/2017-E-II(B) dated 7th July 2017 issued by Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Expenditure, communicated by Ministry of Education vide F.No. 39-2/2016 TS I dated 8th September, 2021.
