On the recommendations of Institute Standing Committee in its meeting held on 29.04.2015, the Competent Authority has been pleased to approve the adoption of “Young Faculty Authority Fellowship” under Visvesvaraya PhD Scheme for Electronics and IT. An Institute is eligible for one Young Faculty Research Fellowship Grant for every five full-time PhD candidates supported under the Scheme in the Institute in a given years,

The guidelines consist of the eligible criteria, the process of selection, roles of the stakeholders, etc. are attached as Annexure-6.

The Competent Authority also approved to initiate the process for identification of eleigible candidates in the Institute for “Young Faculty Research Fellowship” under Visvesvaraya PhD Scheme for Electronics and IT.
