The Senate in its 9th meeting held on 11th May, 2016 vide item no. 9.6 has considered the recommendation of the CPC and approved the courses recommended by CPC(list enclosed) except the courses related to I-PhD Physics program. For I-PhD Physics courses, the Senate suggested to review the curriculum and courses as per the suggestions given in the Senate.

The Senate also advised that courses need not be sent for external review when the Course Interest Group (CIG) of the programme recommends that there is sufficient independent internal expertise available to review the course.

The Dean (Academics), IIT Mandi is requested to take note on the above.
