On the recommendations of the Deans Committee in its meeting held on 09.08.2017, the Competent Authority has approved that the Faculty/Group “A” Officers shall be paid telephone allowances with the salary every month as per their entitlement.
In addition, all the Faculty/Group “A” Officers be provided land line telephone facility at their residences allotted by the Institute in the Campus. The liability towards payment of minimum charges by BSNL + taxes on minimum charges will lie on the Institute. However, charges in excess of minimum charges + taxes on those charges will be borne by the individuals.
The WING section will be responsible for preparation of the land line telephone bill statement with 2 columns; (i) to be paid by the Institute, (ii) to be paid by the Individual.
The above decision would be made applicable from the salary of August, 2017.
