Title: Notification regarding eligibilty criteria for availing Vacation Leave by newly joining faculty members
On the recommendations of the Institute Standing Committee (ISC) in its meeting held on 11th September, 2017 vide item no. 03, the Competent Authority has approved the following eligibility criteria for availing Vacation Leave by the newly joining Faculty members;
“During the first year of service (including the period of probation) a member of vacation staff shall not be entitled to vacation. However, such staff shall accrue earned leave on pro-rata basis as per rule given under Section 20 of the leave rules, as mentioned in the Institute Leave Rules”.
This will be applicable to the member of vacation staff, joining the Institute after 25.10.2017.
