On the recommendations of the Board of Governors (BoG) in its 20th meeting held on 16.02.2018 vide item no. BoG-20.2.1, the Competent Authority has been pleased to approve the delegation of following powers (with respect to routine matters) of the Chairperson, Board of Governors (BoG) of the Institute to Director, IIT Mandi:

1. Cases of visit abroad of faculty members/staff for paper presentation, attending workshop/conference, academic and research purposes for more than 14 days and up to 90 days.
2. Acceptance of resignation and relieving of faculty members/Group ‘A’ employees.
3. Recommendations of Review Committee meetings for Probation Confirmation/ Regularization of Service/Grant of next higher Pay.

This will come into force with immediate effect.
