Title: Notification regarding guidelines for uploading of technical reports on Institutional Open Access Repository
The Senate in its 15th meeting held on 19th February, 2018 vide item no. 15.7 has approved the proposal submitted for uploading of technical reports on Institutional Open Access Repository. The approved guidelines are as following:
- A faculty member (as author or supervisor) can voluntarily upload any Technical report (research paper/extended or full version of a conference paper/project report/experimental data) that he/she would like to disseminate independently on the Institute respository.
- Any issue of conflict of interest (such as copyright issue/IPR etc.) or plagiarism need to be taken care of by the faculty uploading the content on the repository.
The Dean (Academics), IIT Mandi is requested to take note on the above.
