Title: Notification regarding amendment in the existing formula for salary hike to the employees appointed by IIT Mandi on Contract on consolidated emoluments
In partial modification to Office Memorandum No. IIT Mandi/ADMN/RS-78/2015/7601-03 dated 11.12.2015, on the recommendations of the Institute Standing Committee (ISC) in its meeting held on 11.12.2017 vide item no. 6 (1), the Competent Authority has been pleased to approve the following amendment in the existing formula formulated for annual salary hike to the employee appointed by IIT Mandi on contract on consolidated emoluments:
Average = (Current Annual DA+3%) X 100/ (100+Cumulative DA)
Range = (2/3 X Average to 4/3 X Average) + 2.5%
The higher limit of salary hike for the employees of exceptional performance will remain 25% as per earlier policy.
