Reference is made to Notification No. IITMANDI/ADMN/RS-78/2013/6428-40 dated: 24.12.2013 vide which special travel facilities to Faculty and Staff members of the Institute was granted.

In partial modification to the above Notification dated: 24.12.2013, the Competent Authority has approved the following:

“The faculty members and group A employees of the Institute and their families may be extended the facility of Institute leased vehicle for return travel to Delhi / Chandigarh for medical purpose/Home Travel (other than Home Town LTC) or any other purpose once in a year. In case leased vehicle is not available, the Institute may hire vehicle for extending this facility.

For employees belonging to group B and , the Institute may extend the return travel facility once in a year for such employees and their families by Volvo Bus upto Delhi/Chandigarh”.

This policy will be reviewed after five years or till a good & dedicated connectivity is established, whichever is earlier”.

Accordingly, the Notification No. IITMANDI/ADMN/RS-78/2013/6428-40 dated: 24.12.2013 shall be treated as annulled for all intents and purposes.
