Subject: No cost extension for the Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) facility.

In continuation of the communication no. IIT Mandi/RS-93/2020 dated 01.07.2020 (extract of ISC meeting) on the cited subject, the competent authority is pleased to approve in principle no additional cost extension up to November 30, 2025 for hiring one highly skilled NGS operator plus the vendor supplied consumables. The requirements of the consumables can be worked out based on actual requirements and some deviation from the initially approved consumables, if needed may be done at that stage.
