The Competent Authority has been pleased to approve the re-constitution of the Senate of the Institute as follows:

- The term of an ex-officio member shall continue so long as she/he holds the office by virtue of which she/he is a member.
- The term of the external members as mentioned at S.No. 4 (Section 14 (d)) shall be for a period of two years from the date of notification.
- The term of members at S.No. 8 (Clause 5-1(c)) shall be for a period of one year from the date of notification.
- The term of members at S.No. 9 (Clause 5-1(d)) shall be for a period of two years from the date of notification.
- The term of members at S.No.10 (Clause 5-1(e)) shall be for a period so long as the faculty holds the responsibilities/representations of the disciplines.
- The term of special invitees mentioned at S.No.11 (Clause 5-1(f)) shall be for a period of one-year from the date of notification.
The services rendered by outgoing members are highly appreciated and placed on record.
