NOTIFICATION
In terms of Section 11(a) of the Institutes of Technology Act 1961, the Hon’ble President of India in her capacity as Visitor of the Indian Institute of Technology (IITs) is pleased to nominate Lt. Gen. Kanwal Jeet Singh Dhillon (Retd.) Defence Intelligence Agency, Indian Army as the Chairperson of the Board of Governors (BoG), Indian Institute of Technology Mandi, Himachal Pradesh for a period of three years with effect from 25.08.2023 as communicated by the Ministry of Education, Government of India vide order F.No. 24-1/2021-TS.I (Sectt.) dated 26.08.2023.
The Institute puts on record, the contributions by Prof. Prem Vrat as outgoing Chairperson, BoG IIT Mandi and appreciates his efforts in guiding the Institute.
