The Board of Governors in its meeting held on 13.03.2015 considered the recommendations of the 7th Senate meeting held on 11.03.2015 and vide its Resolution No. BG/11.2.10/2015 approved instituting the ‘Rani Gonsalves Award’ in the Institute. The award is to be given to a female B.Tech. student graduating in a year for her outstanding all-round proficiency.

The Board also conveyed its’ appreciation to Prof. Timothy A. Gonsalves for donating Rs. 2.00 lakhs for instituting ‘Rani Gonsalves Award’ in memory of his mother Mrs. Rani Gonsalves.

The Dean (Academics) and Dean (Students), IIT Mandi are requested to take note of the above and initiate further necessary action at their end.
