NOTIFICATION
The Senate in its 44th meeting held on September 17, 2024, vide Item No. 44.3.3 has considered and approved the following proposal for revision of IC Credit structure for B.Tech. Programme.
- Convert IC 102P (FDP) and IC 202P (Design Practicum) from IC Core to Elective Basket (Consisting of ISTP and MTP).
- If the students are not doing IC 102P course, IC 102P is replaced with the Discipline Course. School may decide suitability to include courses from discipline core or discipline elective. The decision of individual schools in this regard should be put up to the Senate for ratification.
- If students are not doing IC 202P course, IC 202P is replaced with Free Elective.
- IC 102P is compulsory for students of SCEE and SMME. Other students will undergo courses as per the above alternatives.
- To remove the prerequisites for IC 202P.
These modifications are applicable w.e.f. B.Tech. 2024 batch.
