OFFICE MEMORANDUM
In partial modification of all relevant previous office memoranda to the extent applicable to Store & Purchase Section, the Competent Authority is pleased to shift the delegated Administrative and Financial Powers from the Dean (F&A) to the Registrar, IIT Mandi, being the Reporting Authority of the Store & Purchase Section, for opening of technical bids (less than 3), grant of extension in tender submission due date, Liquidated damages waiver as per institute policy, delivery period extension, administrative approvals for issuance of Purchase Order on Gem/ Non Gem procurement.
Further, in partial modification to O.M. Ref. No. IITMandi/RO-01/2023/474-477 dated 01.12.2023 (link), the Competent Authority has designated Assistant Registrar / Deputy Registrar, Store and Purchase as the Ex-officio Member Secretary of the Group Purchase Committee (GPC).
