Office Memorandum

The Competent Authority has approved the following charges to develop websites by the student club under Student Gymkhana:

1. The concerned parties seeking services of students (members of Programming club) for website development shall approach them through their Faculty Advisor and Technical Secretary. The coordinator of the club can coordinate in this case. 

2. Those involved before designing the website must meet staff of WING and learn the technology used for website development which can be later maintained by WING staff. 

3. After fixing/learning the technology the students can provide their services to the concerned party on following mode:

• For new-website development a maximum of 5 students shall be employed on internship basis for this task. The charges for developing a new website from scratch can be considered up to Rs 25,000/- per website. This amount can directly be paid to the student group or team leader involved through Bank transfer.

• For developing websites in which either UI-UX or front/backend are reused the charges shall be a maximum of Rs. 5,000/- and a maximum of 2 students can be employed for this task. This amount can be paid directly to the student group involved through Bank transfer.

• Service charges are to be paid only after delivery and successful evaluation of the websites. Further, the maintenance of the website for future purpose should be clearly documented and outlined. For evaluation WING staff and Faculty Advisor can be consulted. 

• Delivery dates are to be decided by the concerned party seeking website development services.

      4. The website development services shall not be considered under Gymkhana activities as payment here is directly going to involve students. The service seeking parties shall duly acknowledge the website creator’s name on the webpage.
