The hostel management will provide minimum require heating facility in the study rooms. Further, it will allow the hostellers to use heaters only during the month of December and January.

The students who wish to use their own heaters/blowers, may do so by paying Rs. 150/- pre week per room (students should divide the cost among the roommates) towards electricity charges. However, the heaters/blowers should not be more than 800W. Only one heater/blower is allowed in a room.

The students should pay the same in the bank and provide the receipt to the caretakers, who in turn will collect and share the details with Dean (Students) Secretariat and finance & accounts office. This will come in effect from 1st of January 2019.

Hostel office may also provide heaters to residents depending on availability. User resident will be responsible for the maintenance of these heaters.
