Title: Resident Warden
As a practice every hostel has a resident warden, a M.S. / Ph.D. student who stays in the hostels and assists hostel wardens in hostel management.
Please find below the responsibilities and benefits of being a resident warden.
Responsibility of a resident warden
- Assisting warden/asst. warden
- Maintaining disciple in the hostel
- Upholding the hostel code of conduct
- Any other responsibility as decided by hostel wardens
Benefits of being a resident warden
- Rs 2000/- per month as an honorarium, after completion of a month
- Rs 2500/- will be waived off from hostel fee per semester, waive off will be provided after completion of a semester (provided worked during two third of the completed semester)
The honorarium will be paid on submission of the “honorarium application” to FAO after recommendation of the hostel warden/ asst. warden.
