On the approval of a Competent Authority laundry services in all hostels will start w.e.f. 30th January 2023.

Following are the guidelines:

1. All laundry rooms in the hostel area will be locked and washing machines will be used/operated only by the laundry service attendant.

2. Rs 30/- will be charged per bucket of dry clothes (max 05 kg) for washing and drying in the washing machine.

3. The above mentioned amount is to be paid via the bank details mentioned/available outside the laundry room. A QR code will be pasted for convenience of payment in online mode.

4. The transaction details should be shared with the laundry service attendant present at the laundry room and an entry should be made in the register  (hard copy) available with him.

5. Ironing is not included in this service.

6. A student can give only one bucket of clothes per day.

7. Washing powder/liquid detergent should be provided by the students.

8. Items like blankets, quilts, footwear and bags etc. will not be washed. 

9. The schedule of the laundry service will be pasted outside the laundry room at your hostel block.

10. Although the laundry attendant will take all preventative measures to keep your items safe; the Institute or its employees cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage to your clothes.
