Office Memorandum
Guidelines related to Fines on any act of Indiscipline by the Students.
The acts of indiscipline are reported to the Chief Warden/ Dean (Students) Office time and again and the Office takes suitable action in terms of fine/ warning/ disciplinary probation as per the gravity on case to case basis.
Some of the acts of indiscipline are commonly occurring and despite repeated advisory students’ are found committing the same mistake. In order to spread awareness among the students, common acts of indiscipline and action taken by the Office have been compiled for information of the students.
These actions are purely indicative and do not reflect the actual action to be taken. The actual action will depend upon the actual act of indiscipline and other accompanying factors.

Apart from fine, Disciplinary probation, Suspension, Community Service, Warning letter and expulsion from hostel etc. may be granted to the student depending upon the decision of the Competent Authority.
Please note that these are only guidelines for fines and are not an exhaustive list. The competent authority may loosen or tighten the actions based on case by case instances and may also take any other suitable action not mentioned in the above list as per Hostel Code of Conduct of the Institute.
