Guidelines for leaving the hostel/ campus are already in place in the Institute. However, in view of rising cases of absence from campus without intimation following guidelines are reiterated to be followed by all students for leaving the hostel/campus:

• It is mandatory for all students (including PhD students) to submit the hostel leaving/ intimation form in case they are proceeding to hometown/personal/official visits outside the institute campus. 

• These forms will be available with caretakers and have to be submitted to the caretaker before proceeding out of campus.

• Any lapse in this regard will attract heavy monetary penalties and/or rustication from the hostel.

• It is an intimation cum self undertaking form, approval of warden is not required.

This is issued with the approval of the Competent Authority.
