In the following scenario a student will be considered having disciplinary action/probation: 

1. If a student has any pending fines to be paid as on date.

2. If a student has any pending disciplinary actions to be fulfilled like community service, writing a report, organizing a workshop, etc 

3. If a student is currently on disciplinary probation.

A student who has completed the disciplinary probation/disciplinary actions/paid the fines will no longer be considered disciplinary action and the student name will be stucked off from the disciplinary action list. 

Further, if any other department within IIT Mandi requests for students under disciplinary action list from the Dean (Students) Secretariat. The above mentioned scenario students list will be provided to them.

A disciplinary action can be taken by any section in-charge/Faculty advisor under Deanery of Students.
