Subject: Amendments to the Hostel Rules – Clauses 7.3, 9.3, 9.4 and 9.5.

The Competent Authority has approved the following amendments to the Hostel Rules, which will be applicable with immediate effect.

 1. Addition – Clause 7.3:
Hostellers are required to maintain the decorum of their rooms. Any instances of graffiti, wall painting, spray painting, or damage to the room will result in imposition of fine as per the norms.

2. Amendment – Clause 9.3:
All hostellers must mark their attendance compulsorily between 9:30 PM and 2:00 AM daily. Attendance must be recorded either in the hostel register or through the biometric system, as per the provisions. Proxy attendance is strictly prohibited.

3. Withdrawal – Clause 9.4
Clause 9.4 stands withdrawn and is no longer applicable.

4. Amendment – Clause 9.5:
If any hosteller wishes to go out of campus beyond Mandi town between 6:00 AM and 9:30 PM on the same day, they must enter their name in the register kept in the Hostel Office for this purpose, indicating the time of departure and expected time of return.
