No. 16-23/2014-TS.I (Sectt.) dated 31st August, 2015 from Additional Secretary(TE) & Secretary of the Council of IITs, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of Higher Education, New Delhi, the tenure of appointment of Prof. Timothy A. Gonsalves as Director, IIT Mandi has been renewed for a period of five years w.e.f 15.01.2015 as has been approved by the President of India, in his capacity as the Visitor of Indian Institute of Technology Mandi.
