Sub: International Year of Millet (IYoM) 2023.

The Government of India has decided to celebrate 2023 as the International Year of Millets. In order to ensure the success of this initiative under the directive of GoI, various activities and events are expected from the students of the Institute. Following is the list of activities planned to be organized by us to celebrate the International Year of Millets 2023:

 1.    Invited talks by experts/invited speakers

2.    Awareness camps among local community

3.    Various creative competitions raising awareness among Institute fraternity

4.    Holding food festivals focusing millets

5.    Social media drives

The above list contains some of the ideas to begin with. However, students are expected to come up with better ideas and also help in organizing these events/ activities for awareness on Millets under the campaign.
