NOTIFICATION

(Proposal for conversion of PMRF fellowship to HTRA after completion of 04 years)

The Board of Academics (BoA), in its 63^rd meeting held on 16^th February 2026, vide Item No. 63.4, discussed the proposal to convert the PMRF fellowship to HTRA after completion of four (04) years. After due deliberation, the BoA resolved to approve the following:

1.       The maximum permissible duration of fellowship shall be five (05) years, inclusive of both PMRF and HTRA.

2.       In the event of discontinuation of the PMRF fellowship, the PMRF progress report shall be shared with the DC. If the DC has already found the student’s progress satisfactory, conversion to HTRA will be permitted; otherwise, the conversion shall not be allowed.

All other terms and conditions shall remain as per the existing rules and regulations.
