OFFICE MEMORANDUM

In partial modification to OM No. IITMandi/RO-01/2026/381-383 dated 01-01-2026 (link), the Competent Authority has been pleased to accord approval to re-constitute the following Committee till December 31, 2027:

04.	Institute Ethical Committee (Human)	Dr. H.L. Kapoor	Chairperson (Mandatory to be from outside the institute)
		Dr. Baskar Bakthavachalu, AP, SBB & Dr. Amit Prasad, AsP, SBB	One or two people from the basic medical sciences area
		Dr. Vikrant Kanwar (AIIMS Bilaspur) & Dr. Chander Singh, PMO, IIT Mandi	One or two clinicians from various institutes
		Mr. G.P. Guleria, Legal Advisor	One legal expert or retired judge
		Mrs. Sandhya Padmanabhan	One social scientist/representative of a non-governmental voluntary agency
		Dr. Ramajayam Govindaraji, AP, IKSHMA	One philanthropist/ethicist/ theologian
		Mr. Suresh Rohilla	One layperson from the community
		Dr. Archi Banerjee, IKSMHA	Member Secretary
