The Competent Authority has approved the annual salary enhancement in the range of 4 to 9%. If the performance is unsatisfactory then extension of few months only will be given and increement can be less then 4% based on the performance as assessed by the PI. However the higher limit of salary hike for the project staff in Institute funded/ Internal projects on exceptional performance can be upto a maximum 25%. The performance assessment in this case is to be done by a committee consisting of three faculty members, including the PI.
