NOTIFICATION
Selection of Discipline Elective courses and its Execution
On the recommendations of the Associate Dean (Courses), the Board of Academics (BoA) in its 49th meeting held on 28th March, 2023, vide Item No. 49.11 discussed the proposal of selection of Discipline Elective courses and its execution in programmes. After detailed deliberation, the BoA resolved to approve the proposed guidelines, as placed below:
- School Chair in consultation with faculty, prepares list of Discipline Electives
- List will be presented in BOA for approval.
- No deletion of courses from this list. Only additions are allowed, till next curriculum revision happens. New courses/additions are authorized through BOA.
- School may offer few courses from the list. Elective courses need not be offered every year. They may be offered based on the faculty availability.
- School will share the discipline electives list with the Academics Section maintains the list.
- Additions, after respective BoA will be incorporated.
