NOTIFICATION

                                                       Revised Curriculum of B.Tech.-M.Tech. Integrated Dual Degree in Bio-Engineering  

On the recommendations of the Chair SBB, the Board of Academics (BoA) in its 49th meeting held on 28th March, 2023, vide Item No. 49.15 discussed the revised curriculum of B.Tech.-M.Tech. Integrated Dual Degree in Bio-Engineering.  After detailed deliberation, the BoA resolved to approve the proposal.

a) Credit Changes- The change of credits of the following courses are to align with the requirements of the BTech Bioengineering curriculum (to be applicable for 2022 intake onwards). No change in the course description.

b) Level Changes- The levels of the following courses are to be revised to the new curriculum. Course description changed.

c) A new course BE3XX: Introduction to Biomanufacturing (3-0-2-4) is introduced as a Discipline Core and it will be replacing BE302: Bioelectric Systems Modelling which will now become a Discipline Elective.

Three new courses are being introduced in the course list:

BE3XX: Genetic Engineering (3-1-0-4)

BEXXX: Reverse Engineering for Bioengineers (0-0-2-1)

BE3XX: Introduction to Biomanufacturing (3-0-2-4)
