NOTIFICATION
Modification in ISTP, MTP, Outside Electives, Free Electives etc. in UG and PG programmes
On the recommendations of the Associate Dean (Courses), the Board of Academics (BoA) in its 49th meeting held on 28th March, 2023, vide Item No. 49.16 discussed the proposal of modification in ISTP, MTP, Outside Electives, Free Electives etc. in UG and PG programmes. After detailed deliberation, the BoA resolved to approve the proposal.

#Proposal for Free Elective in lieu of Outside Discipline Elective |
Currently, there is lot of confusion regarding the Outside Discipline Elective. For a student in PED, VLSI course is outside discipline elective, if we consider each program as one discipline. However, if we see the course codes, both have EEXXX and the PED student cannot take VLSI course as outside discipline electives. Lot of times, students are interested to take discipline elective course rather than opting outside discipline course, if choice is there. |
