NOTIFICATION

Subject: Regarding maintenance of project under School or Centre

Approval of Competent Authority is hereby conveyed for the SOP with respect to maintenance of project either at School or Centre:

1. For fresh cases:

A.   For Faculty appointed at School and affiliated to a Centre: If PI wants the project to be considered under the Centre, then flow of file at the time of seeking  endorsement would be:

PI's request for endorsement (with a clear mention that project is to be considered under Centre; if the same is not mentioned, then project shall be considered under the school by default) > recommendation of School Chair > recommendation of Centre Chair > SRIC Office

B.   For faculty appointed directly at the Centre: endorsement request to be routed through Centre Chair only and project shall be considered as a part of that Centre.

2. For existing cases:

By default, all the projects have been maintained under the schools in line with the flow of file at the time of seeking endorsement. If the PI wants to shift the project from school to centre:

PI to initiate an email request for the same> no objection of the concerned School Chair where project is maintained > recommendation of concerned Centre Chair > SRIC office.
