NOTIFICATION

Subject: Establishment of Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE)

Based on the recommendations of the Dean SRIC, the competent Authority has approved the establishment of the Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE) with following facets:

• The Centre will work under the Deanery of SRIC.
• IIT Mandi Catalyst, iHub & HCI Foundation, IpTT Cell, Entrepreneurship Cell, IITACB operations shall be under the aegis of CIE.
• The role and responsibilities of IpTT Coordinator shall now be merged with CIE Coordinator. Handing over taking over of charges to this effect may please be reported to Dean SRIC within a week.
• CIE will be headed by Faculty Coordinator CIE who will report to Dean SRIC.
• Prof. Dipankar Deb, Centre for AI & Robotics has been appointed as the first Faculty Coordinator CIE initially for a period of 1 year with immediate effect.
