Title: Notification regarding to cover the visit of German scientists in view of the proposed MoU between “DAAD and IIT Mandi” (Faculty Exchange Programme)
NOTIFICATION
The Competent Authority based on the recommendations of the ISC meeting held on 13.04.2023 approved the following rates to cover the visit of German scientists in view of the proposed MoU between “DAAD and IIT Mandi” (Faculty Exchange Programme):
- Remuneration as per the actual or maximum ceiling upto Rs. 1,00,000 per month (Assistant Professor),
- Remuneration as per the actual or maximum ceiling upto Rs. 1,10,000 per month (Associate Professor), and
- Remuneration as per the actual or maximum ceiling upto Rs. 1,20,000 per month (Professor).
These rates include boarding, lodging, Per diem & Local Transport. If the stay is less than one month remuneration will be paid accordingly, on pro rata basis.
Subsequently, the MoU between IIT Mandi and DAAD has been signed, and has been updated on institute website.
