NOTIFICATION

                                             (New Minor programmes in School of Computing and Electrical Engineering)

On the recommendations of the Board of Academics (BoA), the Senate in its 28th meeting held on 5th November, 2020, vide item no. 28.6 approved the proposal for following new Minor programmes from the School of Computing and Electrical Engineering:

1. Computer Science Engineering
2. Power Engineering
3. Electronics Engineering
4. Communication Engineering
5. Measurement and Instrumentation
6. Control Engineering

It was noted that for each minor, more courses can be added to the course lists later. The Senate decided that any such addition to the list of ‘Foundation Courses’ would require approval of the Senate. However, the School in consultation with the respective Program Faculty Group (PFG) may add more courses to the list of ‘suggested courses’ without further approval of the Senate, the changes would be intimated to the office of the Dean (Academics) for implementation.
