     (Revision in the Regulations of the MS (M.Tech by Research)/Ph.D. programme regarding course selection approval)

The Senate in its 35th meeting held on 02nd June, 2022, vide item No. 35.10 considered the proposal regarding revision in the Regulations of the MS (M.Tech by Research)/PhD programme regarding course selection approval. After brief discussion, the Senate approved the following:

Existing clause: [R.11 for Ph.D. and R.10 for MS/M.Tech (by Research)] The Doctoral Committee/Academic Progress Committee will prescribe the courses to complete minimum credits for the students.

Modified clause: The student will select the relevant courses in consultation with the thesis supervisor.
