(Modification in the structure for Minor in Management)
The Senate in its 33rd meeting held on 10th December, 2021, vide item no. 33.5 resolved the following modification in the structure for minor in management:
The Minor in Management is open to B. Tech. and B.Tech. + M.Tech. dual degree students at IIT Mandi, who have completed the required prerequisites listed in the Summary below.
This minor consists of a curriculum in management, which is organized as core and elective courses. Successful completion of the minor requires 6 credits of core courses and a minimum of 6 credits of elective courses. The 6 credits of core courses will be earned against the following 2 core courses 1) Principles of Economics (HS202) and 2) Organizational Management (HS304). The remaining 6 credits will be earned from any of the remaining courses of the basket of managerial competence listed in the Summary section below.
To obtain a Minor in Management, students need to maintain a minimum GPA of 7.0 in the dedicated 12 credits that they have taken to fulfill the course requirement of the Minor programme.

- IC 252: Data Science II (3-0-2-4)
- One course from the Communicative Competence basket

- HS 510: Essentials of Entrepreneurship (3-0-0-3)
* The list of elective courses is based on current offerings and may be modified by the HSS PFG and reported in the BoA
The modifications shall be applicable on all the UG students of BTech2018 batch and thereafter.
