The Chairman I/c BoG vide his approval dated 21.12.2016 has been pleased to approve the roster for Reservation of 99 Non Faculty positions at IIT Mandi with the following:

• Quantum of promotion be fixed @25% on the positions wherever the mode of appointment has been approved as such in the RR policy of the Institute.
• For group ‘C’ posts (including group ‘D’), the percentage of reservation has been fixed as follows:SC-25%, ST-4% and OBC-20% as per DoPT OM No. 36017/1/2004-Estt. (Res) dated 05.07.2005.
• The reservations for persons with disabilities (PWDs) as and when applied will be reflected in the roster as per the vertical reservation category they belong to.
•  Whenever the number of post in any cadre is increased or there is any change in the Institute’s Policy or GoI norms, the same will be amended accordingly.

       The existing roster shall supersede the earlier roster as approved by the 5th BoG in its meeting held on 14.10.2011 vide resolution No. BG/05.3.1/2011.
