Title: Notification regarding implementation of ESIC Act 1948 w.e.f 01.03.2017
As per the gazettee notification dated 21-02-2017 GoI, Ministry of Labour & Employment, New Delhi and further approved by the Competent Authority of the Institute all employees working in IIT Mandi through Labour Contractors (Immediate Employer) will be covered under Employee State Insurance Act 1948 w.e.f 01-03-2017.
It is directed to all the Labour Contractors to obtain ESI code online and get their workers registered online under the provision of ESI Act so that the benefit under ESIC Act is extended to their workers.
