Title: Revision of time-limit for submission of Travelling Allowances (TA) claims.
OFFICE MEMORANDUM
The time limit for submission of claim for Travelling Allowance (TA) has been changed from earlier one year to sixty days succeeding the date of completion of the journey, effective from 13.03.2018. Failure to submit TA claim (Travelling Allowance/Daily Allowance on Tour/Transfer/Training/ Journey on retirement) within sixty days succeeding the date of completion of journey, the claim is forfeited or deemed to have been relinquished, in accordance with General Financial/TA rules.
Therefore, all concern are advised to submit TA claims within stipulated time to avoid any inconvenience.
