OFFICE MEMORANDUM

On the approval of the Competent Authority, the following IT Committee is constituted for efficient functioning of the Deanery of Digital and Computing Services (DD&CS). The details of IT Committee members (Internal & External) are as follow:

Internal Members

1. Dr. Prasanth P. Jose, SPS
2. Dr. Rahul Shrestha, SCEE
3. Dr. Dinesh Singh, SCEE
4. Dr. Mohammad Talha, SMME

External Members

1. Mr. Navpreet Singh, IIT Kanpur
2. Prof. Manoranjan Mishra, Dean (Faculty Affairs & Admin.), IIT Ropar
3. Mr. Abhinay Saxena, Senior Manager (IT Resources), IIT Delhi
4. Any other expert if required for some specific needs

Terms of reference of the Committee:

1. The IT Committee will support all the operations of the deanery in terms of planning, functioning, upgrading and expansion of digital and computing services.
2. Internal Committee members role is to support the Dean (D&CS) for the various operations as agreed upon.
3. The IT purchase committee for the procurement of equipment/services within the purview of the deanery will be composed of the internal members (3 in number) of the above-mentioned IT Committee.
4. The external members will play the advisory role and will participate individually/collectively in online/offline mode as per the need of the Institute. A suitable honorarium of Rs. 5000/- per day with travel and boarding-lodging support will be provided to the members.
5. Tenure of the Committee will be two years.

Further, the internal projects, WING (PI: Dr. Prasanth P. Jose) and NKN/VC support (PI: Dr. Rahul Shrestha) will continue to function with P.I.'s reporting to Dean (D&CS).
