OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Reference Notification No. IIT Mandi/DORA/Notification/2024-25/10 dated 20/03/2025, the approval of the competent authority is hereby conveyed that the research project titled “Tata Trusts Sponsored Augmented Facilities for Empowering Resilience in Himalayan Hills (Tata Trusts Safer Hills)” has been sanctioned with a grant of Rs. 20,04,16,000/- (Rupees Twenty Crores Four Lakhs and Sixteen Thousand Only) received from Tata Trusts for a duration of five (5) years (w.e.f. 28/08/2025). The terms and conditions of the project shall be referred from the Grant Letter No. 2025-73080 dated 4th August 2025 (enclosed).

Project No. IITM/DORA/TataTrusts/2025/02 has been assigned to this particular project for all future correspondence, and following faculty members are designated to serve as PI/Co-PI:
