Title: Revision of designation, qualification and salary for research staff in various funded projects.

Notification

The Board of Governors in its 27th meeting held on 05th October, 2019 is pleased to approve the item no. 27.2.2, based on the recommendations made by the Finance Committee vide item no. 24.3 in its 24th meeting held on 05th October, 2019 regarding revision of designation, qualification and salary for research staff in various funded projects. The revised structure is as under:

Research Staff

3	Senior Project Scientist / Senior Project Engineer/ Research Associate	Ph.D or M.Tech with at least 5 years of experience.	35,000-1,00,000
4	Project Scientist/ Project Engineer/ SRF/ Project Associate-II	M.Tech or B.Tech/ M.Sc./M.C.A./M.A./ M.B.A./ or Equivalent + at least 2 years of experience.	20,000- 70,000
5	Project Associate-I/ JRF	B.Tech / M.Sc. / M.C.A. / M.B.A. / M.A. or equivalent	15,000 – 40,000

Technical Staff

2	Assistant Project Manager	Post Graduate (M.B.A./M.C.A./M.Com./M.Sc., M.A. or equivalent degree. or Graduate (B.Sc./B.A./B.Com./B.B.A./B.C.A. or equivalent)+ at least 3 years of relevant experience.	15,000- 50,000
3	Project Office Assistant	Graduate (B.Sc./B.A./B.Com./B.B.A./B.C.A. or equivalent)	10,000-30,000

The revised norms will be effective from the date of issue of this notification.
