Title: Notification regarding Leave Policy for Staff working on contract on consolidated emoluments
On the recommendations of Institute Standing Committee in its meeting held on 15.12.2016, the Chairman, BoG has approved the following Leave policy for staff working on contract on consolidated emoluments with immediate effect:
- The employee shall be entitled 30 days annual leave in a year. The leave shall be earned on pro-rata basis. No other kind of leave shall be admissible.
- A maximum number of 10 leaves can be availed by the employee in one spell.
- A maximum number of 10 unutilized leaves in a year can be carried forward to next year, if the contract period is extended for another year.
- No leave encashment of unutilized leaves shall be allowed.
- Reporting officer shall be the leave sanctioning authority. Joining report whenever leave is availed should be submitted to Establishment & Administration Section through leave sanctioning authority.
- The leave account of each employee shall be maintained in Establishment & Administration Section.
- The Director at his discretion may relax any of the condition mentioned above.
